Twitter Spaces & Growth & Skip a few steps & Protect your bag from the Wolf:
Twitter spaces aren’t regular voicechats. They’re full of awesome people Just. Like. You. The relevance its amazing ; networking at its finest
You ought to be careful tho. As like any other thing in this nft space or in the world, there’s a broken immoral soul once in a while, with his eyes on the prize (ur bag); what can you do, this the world we live in; far bigger misfortunes than scammers out there.
Nonetheless, one gold digger doesn’t rep the space and shouldn’t discourage you. Where i grew up, made me learn a looot about bullshit and how to detect it from miles away. But i’m new here myself, just joined in December. If you’re newer in NFT sphere, you can skip yourself a few steps reading this.
I wish I was born in America; whichever state I bet i was a millionaire by now (25yo). From different perspectives still the land of opportunity for some. Getting back to our sheep; be wary of the wolf and look for the dogs/shepherds. That’s right, wolves, sheep, dogs n shepherds.
What i mean is, there are good intended people too; just act like a bee that collects pollen when navigating thru twitter accounts; follow everyone you come across and listen to those guys. See for yourself what they have to say, for days, weeks until you feel they are genuine.
Shouldn’t be that hard, bc a scammer will always be superficial, lacking substance and u’ll know after listening for a few hours that guy is around just to snipe the shit out of your innocent bag. Real people care more about sharing their knowledge whereas scammers will always share the traps.
First, look for spaces of smaller size. Try n actively participate in the conversation; engage and see if you can debate other topics than NFTs, see if speakers are genuine guys. I joined myself a few spaces already to see whats it bout.
Even tho they were community spaces of their collections, they still included me as one of their own. That’s a good sign i think of genuine people. We had a chat, spoke about today’s topics laughed how ppl queued up in lines for gas did an x2, next day when price dumped; no one was there to buy it.
Then i joined some other topics related spaces; like what does Yuga acquiring Punks mean and that was educative, space was pretty big and still got the shot to speak; convo was genuine.
What i would avoid is: spaces shill related. Not necessarily that they are bad intended, i dont think they are but everyone’s there for a quick shill of their bag. No one is actually there to buy what those ppl are shilling. Buyers, mostly ‘whales’ are always in different sort of places.
And now you don’t have to start acting like a ‘whale hunter’ like ‘ok, my buyers ain’t there gonna go for em and start shilling where i should’. No, thats f ed up too. You need first to build yourself, build a spot for yourself in this space. Fit a missing puzzle piece.
And now you’ll think ‘ oh okay, but i don’t see the puzzle board so i know where i might fit’ bro, trust me. That’s the least thing that’s clear to me too😂. But don’t worry; look thru your set of qualities, connect to some good people in the space and start adding value where/when as you can.
I been on Twitter to find out how it works for 4 months already, got a small clue and i think can share it to newer people than me, so they won’t feel the same frustrations as i did. Some might quit or lose the bags in the process and don’t get as far as i did.
So if you just arrived in #NFTcommunity ; u can read this big pile of possibly junk and skip yourself a few steps to protect your bag.
My twitter: @mrbettershiller a follow would do me good, cheers ✌️
